Sometimes I book a flight without even thinking. No long debates, no meticulous planning — just a feeling that pulses through my chest like, “Go.” And when that moment comes, I don’t fight it. I’ve learned to trust it. What used to feel like spontaneity now feels more like a sacred inner compass.

There’s a knowing that kicks in, even if my conscious mind hasn’t caught up. I might not know why I need to go, but I know I’m supposed to be there. And that’s always enough. Over the years, I’ve stopped looking for logic and started listening for the call. And every single time — whether the journey is smooth or wild — it makes sense later. 

Beyond Vacation: The Feeling of Grid Work

At first, I just thought I loved to travel. Then I started noticing patterns. Energetic shifts. Internal upgrades. Messages in the wind. Moments of deep peace and clarity when my feet touched certain soils. I began to realise I wasn’t just moving my body across land — I was moving light.

What I’ve come to believe is this: when we travel with awareness, we’re doing more than sightseeing. We’re participating in a greater flow. Some of us are unconsciously weaving energy into the land, anchoring remembrance into timelines, or collecting codes to carry to the next place. This is grid work — even if you didn’t know the term, your soul did.

Portals in Plain Sight

Let’s talk about “airports.” The word port jumped out at me one day like it had been highlighted by the universe itself. A port is a gateway, a crossing point — a place of transfer. And isn’t that exactly what these moments feel like? The in-between, the threshold, the lift-off before a new version of you lands?

Then there’s Portugal — a country I’ve visited more than anywhere else in the world. Again, port. Again, a portal. It’s in the name. These aren’t accidents. This is how Spirit speaks. It whispers through language, signs, and synchronicities. You don’t need to decode every detail — just be awake enough to notice.

The Sacred Itinerary

Not every trip is smooth. Not every destination is glamorous. But every journey has taught me something. Sometimes it’s about healing. Sometimes it’s about creating. Sometimes it’s about simply being in the right place at the right time to hold energy — no words needed.

And the thing is — your soul knows your itinerary. You may not. But it does. It’s okay if you don’t know why you’ve felt the pull to go somewhere. It’s okay if it doesn’t make sense to anyone else. It’s not supposed to. The sacred itinerary is written in a language only you can hear — and it’s always, always right on time.
