Let’s Talk Tarot: Why I Read and What the Cards Know
Share
🃏 Let’s Talk Tarot. Just a Little.
People love to ask me how I got into Tarot — like I just woke up one day, saw a deck levitating, and said “bet.”
Truth is, Tarot showed up slowly, like it had been watching me fumble through life and finally stepped in like:
"Alright girl, give me that question you keep pretending you’re not asking."
And we’ve been in conversation ever since.
🪞 Why I Read
Because the cards know.
They know what you’re not saying.
They know what you tried to journal away.
They know that deep sigh you did in the car yesterday? Yeah. That.
Tarot doesn’t need context — it is the context.
I don’t read because I’m trying to control what’s next.
I read because sometimes the vibes are off and I’d like a second opinion before I do something dramatic.
Also: it works. It always works. (Annoying, honestly.)
🪶 A Bit of History — But Like, Briefly
Yes, Tarot has a past.
No, it didn’t drop from the heavens pre-packaged with velvet pouches and YouTube channels.
It started as a card game in 15th-century Europe.
But somewhere along the line, people started asking deeper questions — and the cards started answering.
Coincidence? Sure.
Divine design? I like that better.
The deck has 78 cards.
The Major Arcana is basically your soul’s 22-step drama arc.
And if you’ve ever been personally attacked by The Tower, you already know.
✨ Why I Trust It
Because it doesn’t pander.
Tarot will not sugar-coat your nonsense. It will not hype you up if you’re the problem (sorry).
But it will meet you exactly where you are — and tell you where you’re headed if you keep acting like that.
I’ve pulled cards that felt like therapy.
Others that felt like a text from my higher self.
And sometimes, they feel like a spiritual slap… followed by a cuddle.
Balance.
☕ So Yeah. Tarot.
It’s not a gimmick.
It’s not a hobby.
It’s not something I do because I like candles (although… I do).
It’s the language I reach for when I need clarity.
And sometimes when I’m nosey.
But mostly when the energy’s loud and someone needs to interpret.
The cards talk.
I listen.
And somewhere in between, people find answers they didn’t know they needed.
Come back anytime. The kettle’s always on. The cards are always watching. 👁
